About Eddy
Eddy is a fully qualified English Teacher for students studying English as a second or foreign language, He is from England and lives in Hanoi, Vietnam. He has been teaching at universities and English centres in the UK and Vietnam since 2014.
In the UK, he teaches Academic English to International Master's students at the University of Nottingham. In Hanoi, Eddy began teaching at Apollo in 2014 and has experience teaching General English, Business English and IELTS to adults and university students. Nowadays, he teaches English to private students and groups.
What kinds of English can you study with Eddy?
General English - Eddy teaches his own syllabus of General English. He teaches all levels from Elementary (A1) to Advanced (C1).
Academic English - through his work with the University of Nottingham in the UK, Eddy has developed a great Academic English syllabus that helps university students thrive in the crucial skills of essay wriitng, seminars, lectures and plenty of other university contexts.
Business English - Eddy has taught at a number of international companies in Vietnam such as Honda, Yamaha, Cano, the Industry of Ministry and Trade and Ford.
Pronunciation - Eddy is an expert in British English pronunciation. He teaches the phonemes clearly and specialises in giving students a great insight in to the features of Connected Speech
IELTS - Eddy has years of experience of teaching the four skills of the IELTS exam and has helped dozens of students find a place at international universities in the UK, USA, Australia and Canada.
English Teaching Qualifications:
- Cambridge CELTA - Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (Level 5) -2014
- Cambridge Delta - Diploma in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (Level 7) - 2020
- MSc Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) with a specialism in EAP (English for Academic Purposes) (Level 7) - to be completed in 2023
